East Ridge of the Grand TetonMarch 8
The East Ridge of the Grand is one of the longest routes in the Tetons… a classic alpine adventure. With me were my son Jason and Kent Marshall of Laramie, Wyoming. We climbed the route July 8, 2006 and bivouacked on the Upper Saddle of the Grand so I could get some painting done the next day in the dawn light.

First pitch on the south side of the first tower. Some interesting 5.8 moves around this tower.

On our way back to Teton Glacier we stopped to climb Teepee Pillar
